The organizations working in the non-profit sector of Pakistan are mainly registered under four laws, Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control Ordinance), 1961, Societies Registration ACT, 1860 Companies Act 2017, The Trust Act, 1882. Unlike other industries social services mainly rely on funding and grants from other organizations. These organizations needs to ensure cost effectiveness and quality project management in order to achieve progress and sustainability.
